Change in phone numbers

Mobile numbers from Safaricom 072-xxxxxx have changed to 0722-xxxxxx.

The telephone numbers for the following exchanges in Nairobi have changed: KILELESHWA, MILIMANI, MUTHAIGA, MUTHANGARI and WESTLANDS.

Please ensure that you add the prefixes as indicated below to the telephone numbers.

KILELESHWA: The five-digit number series 43xxx and 47xxx was changed to a seven-digit number prefixed by 43 to change to the new number. For example the telephone number 43090 was changed to 4343090 and 47090 to 4347090.i.e 43090 => 4343090 and 47090 => 4347090

MILIMANI: The six digit number series 71xxxx and 72xxxx was changed to seven-digit number prefixed by the digit 2. For example the telephone number 711111 was changed to 2711111 and 720000 to 2721111.i.e 711111 => 2711111 and 721111 => 2721111

MUTHAIGA: The six digit number series 76xxxx was changed to seven-digit number prefixed by 3. For example the telephone number 761111 was changed to 3761111.i.e 761111 => 3761111

NB: The Eastleigh, Parklands telephone numbers have not changed.

MUTHANGARI: The five-digit number series 48xxx and 49xxx was changed to a seven-digit number prefixed by 43 to change to the new number. For example the telephone number 48197 was changed to 4348197 and 49197 to 4349197 i.e 48197 => 4348197 and 49197 => 4349197

PARKLANDS: The six digit number series 74xxxx was changed to seven-digit number prefixed by 3. For example the telephone number 741111 was changed to 3741111.i.e 741111 => 3741111

WESTLANDS: The six digit number series 44xxxx was changed to seven-digit number prefixed by 4. For example the telephone number 441111 was changed to 444111.i.e 441111 => 4441111
